It’s is a well known fact that Kanye West loves to to use Twitter. Using the social media platform, Kanye, has touched upon many topics such as Donald Trump, promoting new music, and other random thoughts that he has.

West even used the platform to to rant about Donald Trump. ““You don’t have to agree with trump but the mob can’t make me not love him. We are both dragon energy. He is my brother.” This comment generated a lot of backlash from his Kanye’s fellow celebrities. “As you know, what you say really means something to your fans…Don’t let this be part of your legacy. You’re the greatest artist of our generation” said American songwriter, John Legend. Other people to criticise Kanye included Jeffrey Wright, Wendy Williams, and Rosie O’Donnell. Other celebrities unfollowed Kanye.

But not everyone denounced the rapper for his thoughts. “Black people don’t have to be democrats.” and then made a follow up tweet, which read, “Next President gon be independent.”

Kanye’s wife, Kim Kardashian, also came in to defend the rapper, saying that she supports Kanye’s right to speak his mind and to be a free thinker. “”When he spoke out about Trump… Most people (including myself) have very different feelings & opinions about this,” Kardashian tweeted. “But this is HIS opinion. I believe in people being able to have their own opinions, even if really different from mine. He never said he agrees with his politics.”

Even with everything Kanye is going through, he still has time to promote his music. He  has tweeted out the the album release dates for Pusha T, Teyana Taylor, his own solo album and his collab album with Kid Cudi, which are all being released with the earliest release being the end of May and the lastest release being the end of June.
