We all have that favorite teacher: The one that sparked our interest in something. The one that made learning fun. The one that made us look forward to class every day. For many at Manchester High School, that teacher is Justis Lopez. A former MHS student, Mr. Lopez is known around the school for his positive energy and as a source of inspiration for students. He graduated from Manchester High School in 2010 and received his college degrees from UConn. Mr. Lopez returned to Manchester High two years ago and is teaching alongside many of his own former teachers. However, his journey back to MHS wasn’t a straight line.
